Timber Pole

Many examples of both sawn & round posts forming 'warehouse' buildings were built in Australia prior to the 1920's and are often hertiage listed waiting for a new use. Here is an overseas example of a modern residence with the primary frame using a similar technique, albeit with much lighter loadings.
